What is going on now...

Our history with snails

Our friend had snails and offered us some babies because she found out they breed very quickly. Of course we said, "Ewwww, no!" Then my husband looked into what snails have to offer and after careful consideration, I called her back and said, "Yes sure, we will take all that you have!"

We ended up with 6 adult Helix Aspera and 9 babies. Since early November our 6 Adults have produced 6 different clutches, with some having multiple clutches at the same time. They do breed very quickly!

Our Bio Farm

Right now we have over 600 baby snails, with our 9 JV TEAM becoming adults in about a month.

There is a new clutch that just hatched and we cannot count them yet. It is too dangerous for those little guys!

As we harvest new snails they will be put into our breeding stock until we reach 5000 adults.

After that we will collect another 5000 and begin producing mucin with some very basic, non machinery methods.

Of course all cruelty-free and no harsh chemicals.

It has not been hard to fall in love with these little guys.

We are excited to begin testing the mucin in local college labs to find even more peptides to further studies directed towards pharmaceutical uses!
